We have recently launched a specialized investment program tailored specifically for U.S. service members and their families stationed in Korea, with a long-term vision for global expansion across military communities worldwide.
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with U.S. Military experience currently residing in Korea to lead our business development and engagement initiatives. This role is the "face of the firm" within the U.S. military community, focusing on grassroots outreach, event coordination, and high-touch client relationship management.
The successful candidate will bridge the gap between U.S. military personnel and our expert advisors, ensuring service members have access to the financial education and resources they deserve.
Key Responsibilities
Community Engagement: Plan and execute targeted marketing and promotional initiatives within U.S. military communities.
Event Management: Spearhead seminars, networking functions, and community gatherings to build brand awareness.
Client Advocacy: Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients to introduce our services and identify their needs.
Pipeline Management: Facilitate introductions between prospective clients and our U.S.-based advisory team, managing all necessary follow-up.
Strategic Growth: Develop and implement localized outreach strategies to expand our footprint.
Mobility: Travel frequently to U.S. military installations across Korea (and potentially international bases) to maintain a physical presence.
Professional Development: Obtain the Investment Asset Management – Korea license (with firm support) to enhance your advisory capabilities.
Reporting: Collaborate directly with the Korea Office CEO and the U.S. Headquarters CFO.
Qualifications & Requirements
U.S. Military Experience: Must be a Veteran or have direct prior US Military experience.
Bilingual Proficiency: Native or near-native fluency in both English and Korean is required.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience: Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in Marketing, Financial Services, Sales, or Tax/Legal services.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex financial concepts for a broad audience.
Drive: A "self-starter" mentality, comfortable with a field-based role involving frequent travel and external networking.
Integrity: A high degree of professionalism, discretion, and commitment to regulatory compliance.
Work Environment & Expectations
This is a field-oriented role. You will spend significant time "outside the wire" engaging with the community and attending events. When not in the field, you will operate out of our Seoul office for collaborative strategy sessions and specialized training with our licensed advisors.
